Naila Chowdhury - Founder & Chair

Naila Chowdhury is a seasoned professional with a wealth of management experience in Transformational leadership, data-driven decision-making, technology, and international development. She has held leadership positions in both private and public sectors, including with the United Nations Development Programme, UN Global Compact UN WEP and  Telenor. As the Founder & Chairperson of Women4Empowerment (W4E), Naila is dedicated to empowering underserved women, girls and youth to live with dignity, self-esteem, respect, empowerment and love. With her passion for social impact and deep knowledge of the field, Naila is an international Ambassador in the realm of women’s empowerment and human rights.

Samina Chowdhury - Founder & Co-Chair

Samina and her family have called Maryland home for over 30 years. She is also fluent in Bengali, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and English and has many professional connections – local and abroad. While she strives to be a thorough professional, she is also very passionate about giving back to society by supporting charities and helping to make life better for those in need.

We are proud to be a women-led and women-supporting organization, where we champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, we explore global capacity-building efforts to facilitate an inclusive society where SDG is one of the key focuses on gender equality to ensure social and economic implications are considered for energy transition and training, we strive to create opportunities where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential for a sustainable inclusive world.

Women4Empowerment Organization (W4E) is a non-profit organization created to empower underserved people with the universal opportunity to live with dignity, self-esteem, respect and love. The organization operates in the USA, especially in the East Coast, and also serves under-served communities globally.

Background

W4E is formed on the virtue of positivity. Our goal is to provide a great platform for girls, Women and Youth for array of projects, services and events that will help empower individuals who will in turn have an affirmative impact on their own community and move towards positive social change.
