Sabine Balve

Sabine Balve is Founder and President of the World Leaders Forum Dubai, and she is arguably one of the world’s pre-eminent campaigners for human development, global sustainability, and world peace.

Sabine Balve was born and raised in Germany, but has lived in Europe, the Middle East, West Africa and North America. Speaking fluent German, English and Italian, and possessing tolerable fluency in French, Spanish and Arabic, Sabine is one of the world’s most influential Global networkers.

She was former International Director of STOCKINGER Safes Germany. She was to later successfully transform the brand Stockinger from a German brand to an international brand. As a result of corporate stagnation, Sabine decided to create her own brand, BALVE High -Tech Safes, Germany, for a more specialized,high-end and elitist market. Her company soon penetrated the Middle East Market with the help of a dozen exhibitions, designing, producing and marketing the most exclusively luxurious line of safes in the world. Her inventions are considered to be the “Rolls Royce” of the safes of this world.

These days, Sabine is mainly pre-occupied with the World Leaders Forum Dubai, a cutting-edge global initiative which she founded as an outcome of the  World Energy Conference of October 2012 in Dubai, which was held first time outside of the UN, of which she was sole facilitator and Author of the Agenda. It was at that forum that Sabine creatively coined the slogan “A Forum for World Leaders.”

In 2011, Fukushima, the biggest industrial and environmental catastrophe on our planet, was to draw Sabine into its very vortex. Immediately understanding the catastrophic dimensions of this accident, she networked with top nuclear scientists to seek solutions to the disaster, quickly gaining pre-eminence as a vocal advocate for the sustenance of the planet.

Sabine was only last year, 2014, appointed as Chair of the Futurists Board of The Lifeboat Foundation, a nonprofit nongovernmental organization dedicated to encouraging scientific advancements, while helping humanity survive existential risks and possible misuse of increasingly powerful technologies, including genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and robotics/AI, as we move towards Singularity.

Now recognized as one of the most extensive and credible ‘think tanks’ in the world, The Lifeboat Foundation Advisory Boards include hundreds of highly esteemed scientists, futurists, educators, activists, and ‘deep-thinkers’ devoted towards a secure quality of life for all. On this Advisory Board, Sabine is in the good company of the likes of Prof. Ray Kurzweil (founder of the Singularity University, Google director and accomplished engineer, and Nobel Laureates Daniel Kahneman, Professor Lord Martin Rees, Former President of Royal Society in United Kingdom and Eric S.Maskin, Richard J.
